@daimen6 not necessarily true - because he fails to bet the flop, not only does he give a free card, but - more importantly - he gets no read on farha. if he bets and sam calls, and then sam bets when he the flush hits on the turn, phil might get away from it (should, IMO) but... no bet, no read -- he turns himself into a calling station, playing the guessing game. and why slow-play one pair? it's not like it's a monster hand....
