@IPAWNMYQUEENS He earned the money just like anybody else. The reason he is called "Leatherass" is because he sits down and plays poker for 10 hours a day. Most people don't even spend that much time at a regular job, and still donate money. Also, he won money from people who were well aware of the risk of loss in a game of skill (and a little chance). It's not like he robbed a liquor store.

And furthermore, if you DID make your living essentially off other people, maybe your sense of morality would eventually lead you around to give to the less fortunate some of your cut, to make you feel like you were contributing more to society, rather than just keeping the winnings all yourself. I still refuse to buy into the notion that pro poker players are selfish bottom feeders, but that's another way to look at it.
