Coincidentally, I just read an article on levelling. It said a Level 1 player only considers his own hand. Level 2 thinks about what his opponent has. Level 3 thinks about what his opponent thinks he has. Etc. Strangely enough, the only thing on Daniel's mind is that he has Aces up. I can't imagine he's ever thinking about a hand Barry could have that he can beat., because when the King hits, there isn't any. Daniel really seems like a Level 1 player during this hand.

@bierbuik Because he wants to make himself believe that the worst possible Aces-Up in that spot is maybe the best hand. Sometimes you think there's a 95% chance you're beat, in which case you should obviously fold to a potsized bet on the river. Then you start imagining situations which are preferable for you but which just aren't very realistic. Like, in this case, that Barry couldn't possibly have a set or a straight. Or AK. Or AQ.
