Not to burst your bubble there, but IIRC it was Hansen that taught JBL the Lariat. So if anybody knows about putting someone away with that move it's Hansen.

JBL's more flashy than Hansen's because of the "dashing" motion in which JBL's delivers his; but Hansen can connect it on any situation and position. I think Hansen's is stiffer than JBL's

please. You need to get off the JBL podium and watch more stan hansen material. First off JBL neds a fucking running start to kill someone with his CFH. Hansen's LARIATOOO just explodes ANYWHERE and decapitated anyone who came across it. From the top turnbuckle, bounced from the ropes, rising on the floor, slugging it out with the big man, and he takes your best shot and kills you several times with that LARIATOOO. Stan Hansen was JBL before he got off the beer swigging and the sweaty mullet.

Hansen seriously just swings for the fences when he gets near someone. Christ man, Theres a couple shots to Misawa and Kawada in there, where he looks like he's just trying to cave their face in with his forearm. Truly one of the stiffest lariats around.

Lariat against Steve Williams at 4:26 is one of my personal favorites. Nothing like having a guy the size of Dr. Death go head over heels via Western Lariat. End of the clip with Hansen catching Kobashi in mid-air ranks highly with me as well.
Props for people willing to take it since Hansen for the most part was swinging for the fences.
