That's exactly what I thought when I first saw him. He definitely impresses me as being very intelligent: clearly a first-order genius.
My favorite poker moment was when Phil Hellmuth called Barry a "moron" during a televised tournament. It's now hard for me to take Hellmuth seriously, after he picked out the most intelligent man in the room and called him a moron!

He's considered to be one of the greatest players there is, even Doyle himself gives Barry the highest honors. Only a idiot who does not now anyting about poker would give such a comment. Barry is hands down of the the greatest poker players in the world, and top-3 cash game players. He´s savy, knows when to make a move and can make those great all star laydowns. To me Barry, Doyle and Negreanu are the most gifted of them all, albeit with different aproches.

Greenstein regarding the Cheating at UB and Absolute Poker:
This is being investigated and theres no doubt in my mind that it will end up that Hamilton knew who the cheaters were, but I dont get the feeling that well be saying that Russ Hamilton is one of the cheaters.
