Half of it is for TV though, he's putting on a show etc. Most of what you see at the table is missrepresentive to what they are really like. Phil has a point, he's spent 20k buying into this tournament, why the hell shouldn't he get what he wants, none of the other players are in the hand besides annie who is silent.

@ 1979394 : Yes in the small blind and as a short stack, he should go all in 100% of the time with A5. The Big Blind is gonna fold 60% of their hands, and A5 will only be crushed by a very small percentage of hands..
