the theme song sucks, the plot sucks, the ending sucks, the girl's personalities are dull, a lot of things suck, I never felt more disappointed walking out of a theatre from a bond film...he doesn't even say, "Bond, James Bond." Daniel Craig did a great job, but damn there is a lot missing from this movie!

Keep in mind that this movie picks up immediately where Casino Royale left off. There's no need for the usual display of gadgets and weapons, etc. like in most Bond films. I saw Solace today and loved it. I have no problem with the director making a more serious Bond movie. Craig is dynamite, we learn more about this James Bond, and at the end, he learns something about himself. All in all, it was marvelous. Hey, I'm glad that they found an actor who can really play the role! 3 out of 4 stars!

man, they chose the wrong director for this film. The one who directed casino royale also directed Golden Eye and both were good bond films. The guy who directed quantum of solace, marc forster, him and his shaky camera and the shitty script just ruined the movie for me.
