and the start should be pure explosion as well as the turns
thats where you will shave those seconds

I had same thought about this "lifting" of the head and I am no trained swimmer. Vid doesn't mention much about pull with arms (like scooping a bowl out?) or position of eyes (down?). I wonder if the guy in the vid withthe black shorts shouldn't point his toes in the streamline position, to reduce drag? (not on the kick). Any competitive swimmers able to comment? I can do 25m in 10 strokes. Is that good? (It feels good).

Well, they all have beautiful form. I'm only saying this because I suck at breaststroke, and everytime I do my 200 IM I get disqualified... but this video should help that! Thanks guys!

I've got joint laxity and some weak interior hip, and shoulder muscles, a phsiotherapist reccommended swimming to me, but my friend said that certain swimmnig conditions can be very bad, even in an average pool, would you say that the benefits outweigh the disdavantages when it comes to swimming?
