well with pocket jacks... he has to look at what he thinks the min raise meant. yes, marty says this is a stupid move and most of the time it is, but a lot of players on the lower stakes like to min raise monsters like AA and KK. yes, the all-in is somewhat reasonable, but I would still just reraise 3x or 4x. ive had a lot of pocket jacks that just get out drawn on the flop or owned by QQ KK or AA.

Sorry, but this is spot-on.
The problem is this is just a fake chip tournament and every donkey on the internet goes all-in first hand of fake money and most of the time at small stakes real money.
You just have to play your "A" game and steamroll the donks.

The guy with QJ is not a moron for min-raising. He could have been attempting to use a small ball strategy to see every flop before he value bet. His mistake would have been that he called a re-raise pre-flop that he should have folded on.

To the uploader who seems to be making an attempt to show that Gus Hanson's all in strategy on Poker Superstars was bad play:
There is a huge difference between the tournament in your video and the tournament gus was playing in.
In gus's tournament you start out with 300k chips and 20k blinds -- 15 big blinds or an M of 10.
In your video it is a standard 1500 stack with 30 big blind -- HUGE difference. You have 150 big blinds or an M of 25 (as it appears SB is also 30? strange.)

moving in with jacks in a low stakes sng is not terrible. He's got a weak raise ahead of him, some idiot who will probably call with something like a lower pair or AQ. If he slow plays the flop might have an A, K, or Q, or straight or flush possibilities, then he'd be sweating. Situational awareness says double up on the first hand and steamroll the table, take the pot with an aggressive raise and set your table image, worst case lose and play another sng.
